PacBio PRISM 2026 in Fukuoka

We have returned from PacBio PRISM 2026 in Fukuoka, where our team joined Dr. Aiping Mao, Head of R&D at Berry Genomics, and Dr Bo Wang, leader from Haorui Genomics, for an inspiring event with leaders, partners, and innovators from across the PacBio ecosystem. The sessions highlighted how PacBio long-read sequencing is supporting clinical research and diagnostics across the APAC region.
During the event, Dr. Mao shared our early-access experience with PacBio’s latest chemistry, SPRQ-Nx, including results from generating high-quality long-read data through SMRT Cell reuse. Our team also participated in a panel discussion and presented clinical assay solutions for thalassemia, CAH, and HLA typing, reflecting our continued focus on advancing high-quality LRS applications. We were also pleased to host a booth at the event, which gave us the opportunity to speak directly with the community, share our solutions, and exchange ideas with researchers, clinicians, and partners.
